On completion of all work undertaken, we will issue a Building Regulation Compliance Certificate to prove the work meets the required standards of Part P.
Unsafe unqualified electrics can cause serious accidents resulting in serious injury and loss of life, and even house fires
Domestic household electrics should be checked every 5 years for damage and wear and tear
Landlords should carry out testing after every change of tenancy.
Periodic Inspection is an electrical survey that looks for possible electric shock risks and fire hazards.
We can provide a Periodic Inspection Report to identify any risks, and give an idea of the condition of the electrics, recommending any work that needs to be done.
Part P is part of the new electrical safety law that applies to England and Wales. It aims to improve electrical safety in the home and prevent accidents caused by faulty electrical work. The law requires that all electricians have to be registered with a Government-approved scheme, such as ELECSA, to carry out most domestic electrical work.
